Something A Little Different...

A picture I've just finished for a little girl's bedroom. I hope she likes it; especially as it is a picture of her! 

After drawing and drawing this picture it just seemed to work in this style. Most important was the hat and the little cloth the fairy is holding. I took the design from the picture of the original cloth I was sent and used it on the fairy's clothes.

Mermaid Day

It's the lovely @Jabberworks (Sarah McIntyre) birthday and so here's a mermaid for her.

If you've not discovered her books I strongly urge you to go find them in your local book shop and buy them. They're awesome!

A Happy Day

From my sketchbook: Unless you've been hiding under a rock, and even then I'd be impressed if you hadn't heard the news, a new prince was born yesterday. Today the world got its first glimpse of the royal baby and I'm sure he waved! 

Whatever your thoughts on royalty, becoming a parent and bringing a new baby into the world should be a joyous occasion. It feels like the UK has latched onto this joy with tightly gripped hands.
